This is my first try to develop a Physics Portfolio using a blog as a tool.I would like to thanks to my lecturer Dr Sadiah and all my friends who help me much when first I start to develop this portfolio.To my wife Sharina , my daugther Shamim and my son Irfan you are my inspiration.

I hope I can manage this Physics Portfolio as a medium how I can communicate with my students at any time without limitation only to teaching and learning process in class.

I also will try to update all the input publish here to ensure that my students can access an up to date informations.

My philosophy of teaching and learning is much influenced by my obligation to be as a good Muslim Educator to convey knowledge to all people without limitation to their races, religion or political ideologies. As Physics and Mathematics teacher, I will strives with total and unified efforts to attain excellence in science and technology for universal peace and prosperity in accordance with His will”. Hence anything that we undertake should not swerve from this fundamental foundation and teaching profession. Thus my want and desire in teaching my students is not just to impart what we call cerebral knowledge but added to that is knowledge and experience they can attain in class and laboratory works which can enable them to refrain themselves from religious and moral degeneration. I believe these are the basic contributing ingredients for men to achieve universal peace and prosperity. As such they have to be taught, integrated, stimulated and guided to be able to relate the knowledge that they acquire in class as part of the whole integration of the real world. Their minds and soul should first be made to comprehend their very accountability to God in the Hereafter.

I strongly believe that learning should be a fun experience. I manage to create a friendly classroom, including question-answer and discussion towards learning process.

I am fully prepared with the state of the arts of knowledge, before entering my classroom, with the curriculum meet the school and Ministry of Education specifications and always up to date. I always try to create a very friendly learning environment, but certainly I am willing to change the path of courses to suit students’ achievement and for ideas and questions arise spontaneously in the classroom.

Pertaining to above, there are some related principles which I believe in, try to observe and put in into practice. To be a good educator, one should,

• Have a thorough knowledge of the subject area.
• Try our best to varied teaching and learning strategies with current demands and strive to meet the needs and expectations of students so that they benefit the most by attending our classes.
• Impart our duty with utmost sincerity and show our deep concern not only to matters related to their academic performance but also their other well-being.
• Be a good role model especially when time is concerned. Show the students that we are honored with time.
• Try to maintain a lively and happy mood, communicate with the students, make an effort to know and understand them, create a friendly no threatening learning environment, encourage them to participate, be responsive and willing to entertain in detail ideas or questions which may arise spontaneously in the classroom. Tell the students they can interrupt to ask any questions related to the subject being discussed and that asking questions is a welcome and imperative part of the learning process. Provoke their thinking capacity with questions that can trigger discussions.
• Must acquire some psychological knowledge and some other skills to deal with students of this age group to help them to be highly motivated, to achieve good self esteem and confidence.• Above all, must try to relate what have been discussed in class with our underlying philosophy of teaching and learning.
